You DONUT Want To Miss This Valentine’s Day Party!
Friday, February 8 at 4 PM
Are you smitten with donuts? Us too!
Join us for a decadent donut-filled celebration of love. Bring your friends for donuts (from Sweetwater’s Donut Mill), refreshments, games, prizes, and fun! Singles and couples are welcome to attend.
Saturday, February 9
10 AM – Noon
Children of all ages can drop in during this time to create valentines for their loved ones. The library will provide all of the materials and take care of the mess!
Special valentine snacks will be provided.
Sadly Miss Diane is not feeling well and does not want to get any of our little readers sick.
All early literacy programs (Tiny Tots, Storytime, and Music & Movement) are canceled this week. Programs will begin next week as scheduled.
The library has the opportunity to present three amazing new material collections for patron use.
Board Game Section
The library has over 50 strategic board games that can be played in the library. Stop by the library, pick a game, and get your game on with your family and friends! Board games are to be played in the library only.
EZ-Reader Book Box Sets
Meet the Phonics and Meet the Sight Words Box Sets are available to check out. Meet the Phonics sets cover Blends, Digraphs, and Letter Sounds. While Meet the Sight Words slowly progress through Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. Each box set comes with at least ten books for children to read and learn. These sets are great for early to mid-elementary students struggling with phonics or sight words.
Adult Graphic Novel Section
This new section is great for adults who love to read graphic novels but want something age appropriate. This section covers a range of graphic novels including: the Sarah’s Scribbles Collection, Tokyo Ghoul, The Walking Dead, and Graphic Classics. Check out for graphic novels is 3 weeks.

Happy Unbirthday to everyone!
Drink “tea” and have snacks in Wonderland, meet the Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter, create fun Wonderland-themed crafts, pin the smile on the Cheshire Cat, and read the story of Alice in Wonderland with your friends! Wear your finest tea party attire! The Mad Hatter Tea and related activities are happening throughout the two hours. Please visit this drop-in event to celebrate your Unbirthday with us!

Discover STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Match) concepts at several fun stations each week. Drop in each week and choose one or more stations to investigate and explore.
Note: Children age 7 and under will need adult supervision.
December 26 – January 17Play flamingo croquet through a magically curious Alice’s Wonderland. This family-friendly fundraiser costs $1 to play or $5 for the family (children 2 and under are free). Proceeds from this event will go toward new literacy-based activities and furniture in the Rise & Shine Early Literacy Center. Curious adults, teens, and children of all ages are welcome to play! Don’t miss this beautiful and exciting experience, and bring your camera!
