Teen Scene
Teen Scene meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at 4 PM.
September 4, October 2, and November 6
Hang out with friends, enjoy snacks, and have fun gaming!
We’ll have Nintendo Switch consoles and a lineup of cool new tabletop games for you to check out.


Creative Writing Club
Creative Writing Club meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 4 PM.
September 11, October 9, and November 13
Join us as we write and share original stories and ideas. All writing styles are welcome.


Art Hub
Art Hub meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 4 PM.
September 18, October 16, and November 20
Create beautiful and fun pieces of art at this art club! The crafts at these meetups are more advanced and picked for teens/tweens – drawing, painting, crafting, and more!
This program is intended for middle and high school aged tweens/teens.


Sweet & Salty Book Club
Sweet & Salty Book Club meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 4 PM.
September 25 and October 23
Discuss what we are reading over snacks. Choose any book to read and share with the group. Ask a staff member about new/popular book suggestions.
This program is intended for middle and high school aged tweens/teens.


Mummies and Mayhem Mascarade
Teen & Tween After-Hours Halloween Party
Friday, October 24 from 6 – 8 PM
Dare to join us for a night of ancient mischief and monstrous fun at our Mummies & Mayhem Mascarade — an epic event just for teens and tweens! We’re cracking open the crypt to bring you a wild night filled with nonstop thrills including pizza and refreshments to fuel your chaos, games and challenges that will test your courage, hide-and-seek in the dark (if you dare…), a legendary costume contest, and a tomb-load of CANDY that would make a pharaoh jealous! No need to RSVP — just show up ready to wrap yourself in mayhem. Costumes encouraged. Chaos guaranteed.


Jingle & Mingle Holiday Party
Friday, December 5 @ 4 PM
Kick off the holiday season at our festive and fun filled Christmas hangout made just for teens and tweens! Come dressed in your ugliest sweater, Santa hat, or anything festive! Enjoy sweet treats, warm refreshments, games, music, and holiday cheer.
Bring a small, inexpensive gift for the White Elephant Gift Exchange. If you’re unable to bring a gift, let us know — we’ll make sure you can still participate. Come hang out, snack, and celebrate the season!


VolunTEENs
Middle School – High School

Volunteer at your library to earn service credit hours for school or building a resume for future job searches. Stop by during library hours to get a training session and begin volunteering any time the library is open.


LEVEL UP! – Virtual Escape Room

All Ages

Become a video game expert at ODPL: go from Pong to Roblox in this exciting virtual puzzle! We’ll take you through video-game themed puzzles that test your trivia and problem-solving skills to see if you’re a novice, gamer, or expert. Kids that discover the secret code at the end can earn a prize for completing the virtual escape room.

Percy Jackson – Virtual Escape Room
All Ages

Ever wondered what it would be like to go on a quest like Percy Jackson and his demigod friends? Here’s your chance! Compete individually or with your friends to complete the Percy Jackson Escape Room. Navigate your way through the Labyrinth, meet the mystical Calypso, and test your skills as a hero. Can you escape all three levels to get back to Camp Half-Blood?

Book Packs To Go

Would you like a library staff member to pick out books for you or your child?

You can list your interests or genre’s you prefer and a staff member will choose up to 10 books that they feel you will enjoy. Do you like a certain genre or want to learn more about a certain subject? Staff member(s) will choose books to match that subject. The library will put them on hold for you to be able to pick up at our Drive-Thru Pickup Window. Click HERE to get your book pack started!
