Teen Scene
Teen Scene meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at 4 PM.
February 5, March 5, and April 2
Hang out with friends, enjoy snacks, and have fun gaming!
We’ll have Nintendo Switch consoles and a lineup of cool new tabletop games for you to check out.


Creative Writing Club
Creative Writing Club meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 4 PM.
February 12 and March 12
Join us as we write and share original stories and ideas. All writing styles are welcome.


Art Hub
Art Hub meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 4 PM.
February 19, March 19, and April 16
Create beautiful and fun pieces of art at this art club! The crafts at these meetups are more advanced and picked for teens/tweens – drawing, painting, crafting, and more!
This program is intended for middle and high school aged tweens/teens.


Sweet & Salty Book Club
Sweet & Salty Book Club meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 4 PM.
February 26, March 26, and April 23
Discuss what we are reading over snacks. Choose any book to read and share with the group. Ask a staff member about new/popular book suggestions.
This program is intended for middle and high school aged tweens/teens.


LOVE YOUR LIBRARY – Cupid’s Valentine Bash
February 13 at 4:00 PM
Middle School – High School
Get ready for Cupid’s Bash — the ultimate celebration of all things sweet, silly, and heart-shaped! Make Valentine-inspired art, snack on treats that Cupid would totally approve of, and win prizes that’ll make your heart skip a beat. Bring your friends or fly solo — love (and fun) is definitely in the air!


Luau LEGO Challenge
Monday, April 6 @ 2 PM
Grades 3-12
Challenges will be given throughout the hour to make some awesome tropical creations using the Library’s LEGO collection!
(Note: this program is only for older kids and teens.)


Underwater Watercolor Paintings
Tuesday, April 7 @ 2 PM
Middle School – High School
Dive into watercolor and paint a glowing underwater world of sea creatures, plants, and sunlight. Explore color, movement, and light to create a vibrant seascape.


Creatures of the Deep: Air-Dry Clay Edition
Wednesday, April 8 @ 2 PM
Middle School – High School
Shape your own ocean creatures using air-dry clay — whales, jellyfish, mermaids, or whatever drifts through your imagination.

Middle School – High School

Volunteer at your library to earn service credit hours for school or building a resume for future job searches. Stop by during library hours to get a training session and begin volunteering any time the library is open.


LEVEL UP! – Virtual Escape Room

All Ages

Become a video game expert at ODPL: go from Pong to Roblox in this exciting virtual puzzle! We’ll take you through video-game themed puzzles that test your trivia and problem-solving skills to see if you’re a novice, gamer, or expert. Kids that discover the secret code at the end can earn a prize for completing the virtual escape room.

Percy Jackson – Virtual Escape Room
All Ages

Ever wondered what it would be like to go on a quest like Percy Jackson and his demigod friends? Here’s your chance! Compete individually or with your friends to complete the Percy Jackson Escape Room. Navigate your way through the Labyrinth, meet the mystical Calypso, and test your skills as a hero. Can you escape all three levels to get back to Camp Half-Blood?

Book Packs To Go

Would you like a library staff member to pick out books for you or your child?

You can list your interests or genre’s you prefer and a staff member will choose up to 10 books that they feel you will enjoy. Do you like a certain genre or want to learn more about a certain subject? Staff member(s) will choose books to match that subject. The library will put them on hold for you to be able to pick up at our Drive-Thru Pickup Window. Click HERE to get your book pack started!
