We have a wonderful SPRING season planned for you at the library!

Discover the story of a Normandy paratrooper from the program WWII In Their Own Words. Larry Martin will bring us the story of Sgt. Donald Brininstool and share the what the heroes of WWII accomplished on D-Day. You will love Garden Gallery  as we find out how to container garden from Master Gardener, Judi Roberts and Flower GallaRe Owner, Darcy Ennis will demonstrate how to create a beautiful floral arrangement. The voice of the Lansing Lugnuts and Central Michigan Women's Basketball, Jesse Goldberg-Strasser, will bring us The Language of Sports and discuss the art of sports radio, game sound effects, and remarcable sories from over a decade of working with sports. 
Citizen CPR is a hands-on life saving 30 minute CPR technique presented by the American Red Cross. Best Friends - Approach to Alzheimer's / Dimentia Care will equip you with the skills you neet to maximize quality of life and help your loved one retain their dignity. Presented by Susan Wilson, RN, Clinical Staff Educator for Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan and sponsored by Home Helpers Home Care. 
Spring Break is HERE! Get ready for Shophabet and Shoe Planter as we meet the Author, Sarah Hutchens Steele and her Illustrator/Husband, James Steele. Kids are more than welcome to attend LEGO Drop-In Fun, Do I Hear A Moo? Drawing Fun! with Ashley Hoffman from Design Street, and an up-close LIVE animal visit with the John Ball Traveling Zoo!
Children's programs are back with Music & Movement and Storytime: Spring on the Farm. Bring your 4 - 18 month old in for NEW sessions of Storytime: BabytimeCheck out the fun upcoming themes for the Rise & Shine Early Literacy Center (ELC Themes) and join us after school for Chess Club
The Summer Reading Program is Coming Soon! This summer's reading program will get you up and moving with On Your Mark, Get Set, READ! (Children) and Get in the Game, READ! (Teens & Tweens). We will focus on health and fitness by encouraging all children from birth to 18 years old to gear up!
The Friends Spring Book Sale is back! Are you ready for this huge THREE DAY SALE? We are! Seniors' Club  has some fun new events and Book Clubs are featuring some exciting new titles!
Teens & Tweens (12 - 18 years of age) can get involved at their library by joining the Teen Advisory Board (T.A.B.) Volunteers  focus on what the library can do for teens by creating fun programs, making exciting recommendations for the collection, and volunteering at library events. Be a part of making an impact on your library! Members earn service hour credit for participating. where they get to help suggest teen reads, programs, and events! FREE MINI Golf Day (Teens & Tweens) will sneak up fast. Make sure you stop by the library for a free round of our literary themed mini golf course. Join us on Spring Break for our Button Art Series to create fun and funky button crafts. Don't forget to sign up for LEGO Robotics as RobotC is introduced
