Patrons with a format preference can choose to see just eBooks/eAudios or just physical copies within the library.

Each email newsletter itself shows up to 20 “Top Choices” items selected for popularity and variety. The issue also directs patrons to additional pages of new items, organized by genre. Patrons with a format preference can choose to see just eBooks/eAudios or just physical copies.

Each item description includes the title and a borrow link, plus as available:

  • Author

What users like about Wowbrary:

  • Knowing about all the newest books, movies, and music
  • Ease, convenience, speed of browsing
  • Categorization
  • It comes automatically
  • It makes the library more visible, transparent

The newsletters also link to previous editions, so patrons who miss an issue can go back and see new items from prior weeks.

You will be so excited week after week when you see the new books, DVDs, and CDs that the library has purchased. Patrons can quickly find and reserve items of interest. Unlike generic lists, Wowbrary newsletters reflect your new titles each week, allowing patrons to immediately view and place reserves on all items they see.

Wowbrary email newsletters, RSS feeds, Facebook posts, tweets, and pins, reach both avid library patrons and those who haven’t used libraries in years. Wowbrary serves as an attractive online version of new arrivals; one that includes items already checked out.

How to subscribe?

Patrons subscribe directly through the Wowbrary website. In some towns over 10% of the entire population is signed up for Wowbrary.
