Native plants – we hear the term, but what exactly does it mean? In this green thumb program, you will learn the benefits of using native plants in your home gardens and landscapes.

Native plants are low maintenance, conserve water, and provide the necessary food and habitats for wildlife. Many of our beloved butterflies and pollinators depend on very specific plant species.

Learning about and incorporating these native plants in your yard will help to support these nature superstars!
