Honeybees play an important role in the world — from flowers to food — and life would be a lot less sweet without these hard-working insects. Come hear a sweet story and learn why honeybees are so special! Kimi will also talk about queens, workers, and drones and how each bee plays an important part in keeping the hive buzzing. After the presentation, kids will be able to enjoy some hands-on bee activities.

KidsDay at the AirZoo Learn how sweet science can be as you explore the chemistry of candy! Candy is made from sugar, which gives it amazing sweetness, but candy also has some secret ingredients to discover.

Discover density and pressure as you make candy float and sink or expand and contract. Have some fun and play with your food while learning all about chemistry!
