You can stay with your own family or join others to see how quickly or how many puzzles you can complete. After the puzzle palooza, enjoy pizza and pop provided by the library.

Practice your best mayhem, mischief, and other such frights at the library’s after-hours HOWL-O-Ween party! You’re sure to have a howling good time with pizza, refreshments, games, hide-and-seek in the dark, costume contest, and of course… CANDY!
This special after-hours event is just for teens and tweens – no registration necessary.

Get an in depth tutorial on the Cricut Maker cutting machine, Cricut Heat Press, and Cricut Design Space software.
This class is an intermediate level class that will cover the steps involved with creating projects with heat transfer vinyl.

This sentiment was the philosophical mantra of Robert’s story of his remarkable five-year journey into the realm of parental care. Robert says.
“Caring for him was a challenge, but we talked in ways we never had before, and the rewards of being together were tremendous.”
In his presentation, Robert will talk about those rewards. He will have signed copies of his books for sale.
The Friends of the Library are hosting a TWO DAY BIG Fall Book Book Sale!
Who loves a book bargain?! We sure do! Books will be on sale at discounted rates. Shelves inside the bookstore will be restocked with new titles after each sale.

The annual Art Thing sponsored by the Otsego Arts Team will take place in the library’s large program room this fall.
The public is welcome to view the art all week during open library hours. Each person may vote for their favorite piece in both the adult and junior divisions. Voting will end at noon on Saturday, October 7 and the Awards Ceremony will take place that day from 1 – 2 PM.

The Otsego District Library serves 14,230 residents with a budget of $518,000 and a staff of fifteen. Create a tiny sculpture to display in the library.
Use any medium – clay, LEGO, paper/cardboard, wood, glass, nature, etc. Sculptures must fit on the canvas board provided.
There will be SIX age groups (Preschool • Kindergarten – 2nd Grade • 3rd – 5th Grade • Middle School • High School • Adult) and two prize categories (Best In Show and Most Creative). Prizes will be awarded to winners in each age group/category.
