Notary Service
The Otsego District Public Library now provides notary service at the rate of $10 for non-residents and $5 for residents per signature. The library cannot guarantee that a notary will be on staff at all times. Call ahead to verify if a notary will be present and available. You are required to have proper government-issued identification that includes a photo. Click HERE to view the Notary Public Policy.
Internet and Wi-Fi (On-Site)
Stop by the library to use our FREE internet and Wi-Fi. Library patrons use their library card number to login to our computers. Non-Library Patrons, 18 years of age and older, can access our computers as well by using a Guest Pass. Non-Library Patrons need only show their Drivers License or Photo Identification Card to gain access. FREE Wi-Fi is available for all who enter the building using any laptop or mobile device, no password necessary.
Wireless Hotspots
Thanks in part to the CARES grant, distributed by Library of Michigan and the CARES act, we were able to add 11 circulating T-Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspots to our collection! These are only eligible for checkout by *ADULT* *RESIDENT* library cardholders. You can put them on hold just like books. They go out for one week (no renewals) and the replacement cost is $200 if they are lost or damaged. An agreement form must be signed for use. Data usage is unlimited. Cricut Maker + Cricut Heat Press
Library patrons can now use the Cricut Maker at the library to cut indoor/outdoor permanent vinyl, iron on vinyl, and cardstock for a minimal fee. The prices of materials varies depending on what you would like to use in the Cricut Maker. The Cricut Heat Press is also available to patrons to adhere their iron on vinyl to shirts, bags, and more. Patrons may bring in their own approved supplies to cut in the cutting machine.
The Cricut Maker and Heat Press are available to use any time the library is open. If you require assistance then please schedule an appointment ahead of time to make sure a staff member is available to assist.

You can use our button machine to assemble your own custom buttons in the library. Create and print personalized buttons HERE.

Bind your own books together with our comb binding machine. (FREE if you provide your own spine{s}) Binding is 50¢ per binding.

Die Cut Machine – Ellison
Stop by the library to use our Die Cut Machine with a huge array of die cut blocks to choose from. This service is FREE for patrons to use in-house. Patrons must provide their own paper. Our die selection includes letters, numbers, and an array of shapes.

C•Pen
Patrons can check out a talking reader pen for 1 week at a time. The independent read aloud learning pen allows users to scan the text with the pen as it reads it aloud. The ReaderPen is a portable, text-to-speech scanner with a human-like digital voice. Read definitions from several different built-in dictionaries, including the Collins English Dictionary and Oxford Primary Dictionary.
Fax
Send faxes to or from the library. We offer a complimentary cover sheet at no charge to you.
Incoming and Outgoing faxes are $1 per page.
Copy & Print
Patrons can print copies from our computers or directly at the copy machine.
Black and white print jobs are 25¢ per page and color print jobs are $1 per page.

Poster: 11″ x 17″
Patrons can send wireless prints from their own devices using library Wi-Fi and the printer named “Library Gear Managed Printer“. This printer name should automatically pop up in the list of available printers on smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
Scanning
Scan assorted documents (up to 11″ x 17″) directly to an email in color or black and white for FREE.
Lamination
The library offers three techniques of lamination.
Card/Sheet – $1 each
Running Lamination (film is 25 inches wide) – $1 per running foot
Meeting Room Rental
We offer several great spaces at very low cost for all of your event/meeting needs. The Lura Sanford Room and the Tutor Room are available for scheduled events. Both of these great spaces split in two with a partition, doubling the available space. Each area is equipped with audio and visual hook-ups for your laptop or audio device as well as large television screens for projection; the Lura Sanford Room has a drop-down big screen available as well. Rise & Shine Early Literacy Center
The library strives to enrich young minds by encouraging early literacy. In doing this we have created an amazing and FREE literacy center with changing themes. The facility is available for access any time during library hours; direct parental supervision is required. The outdoor play area is available Memorial Day through Labor Day during library hours. Stop by the library to learn and play with your preschool aged child today.
Grand Rapids Children’s Museum Circulating Pass
- The pass entitles up to 6 guests (adults or children) to visit the museum one time free of charge.
- Library patron must present photo ID and circulating pass to the front desk at GRCM.
- A patron may only check out the GRCM circulating pass one time per year.
- The pass is not valid at GRCM special events.
- Patrons must abide by all GRCM policies and procedures.
- ODPL patrons must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of Otsego District Public Library (nonresident reciprocal patrons excluded) to borrow a membership.
- They must present a current Otsego District Public Library library card OR a photo ID.
- The pass must be returned directly to the ODPL staff at the circulation desk during regular library hours.
- If the pass is not returned after 7 days, a late fee of $25.00 will be added to the patron’s account.
- If the pass is damaged or lost while in patron’s possession which requires a replacement circulating pass, $25.00 will be added to the patron’s account.
- If a patron has a circulating membership checked out, they cannot checkout another circulating membership.

Gerald R.Ford Presidential Museum Circulating Pass
- The circulating membership allows adult resident library members to use their library card to check out a free admission pass to Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library & Museum.
- The pass entitles up to 6 guests (adults or children) to visit the museum one time free of charge, once per month.
- Library patron must present circulating pass to the front desk of the museum.
- A patron may only check out the circulating admission pass one time per year.
- Patron is responsible to check the museum hours as they change regularly.
- Patrons must abide by all the policies and procedures of the museum.
- ODPL patrons must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of Otsego District Public Library (nonresident reciprocal patrons excluded) to borrow a membership. They must present a current Otsego District Public Library card OR a photo ID. A patron has 3 days to pickup a reserve circulating membership.
- The pass must be returned directly to the ODPL staff at the circulation desk during regular library hours.
- If the pass is damaged or lost while in patron’s possession which requires a replacement circulating pass, $10.00 will be added to the patron’s account.
- If a patron has a circulating membership checked out, they cannot checkout another circulating membership.

Blandford Nature Center Circulating Pass
- This pass allows FREE admission for up to six attendees in one visit.
- The circulating membership allows adult resident library members to use their library card to check out a free admission pass to Blandford Nature Center.
- Patrons must abide by all the policies and procedures of the nature center.
- The circulating membership program is not eligible for early and discounted registration for programs, camps, CSA or other paid experiences.
- ODPL patrons must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of Otsego District Public Library (nonresident reciprocal patrons excluded) to borrow a membership. They must present a current Otsego District Public Library library card OR a photo ID. A patron has 3 days to pickup a reserve circulating membership.
- The pass must be returned directly to the ODPL staff at the circulation desk during regular library hours.
- If the pass is not returned after 7 days, a late fee of $25.00 will be added to the patron’s account.
- If the pass is damaged or lost while in patron’s possession which requires a replacement circulating pass, $110.00 will be added to the patron’s account.
- If a patron has a circulating membership checked out, they cannot checkout another circulating membership.
