Ages 4 Years Old – 5th Grade

Join your friends after school to build great structures and create beautiful art projects. Each week there will be different building sets and art materials so you can use your imagination and get your creative juices flowing!

Play games, watch movies, eat snacks, and create some lasting memories. We will be featuring several Nintendo Switch consoles and awesome new tabletop games.

Creative Writing Club
2nd Thursdays at 4 PM
February 13, March 13 and April 10
Do you LOVE to write? Let’s write together and share short stories, original writing pieces, and ideas. We welcome all writing styles – poetry, memoir, non-fiction, fiction, and prose.

Art Hub: Teen/Tween Craft Club
3rd Thursdays at 4 PM
February 20, March 20, and April 17
Create beautiful and fun pieces of art at this art club! Join us for drawing, painting, crafting, and more! These crafts are more advanced for teens and tweens.

Sweet and Salty Books: Teen/Tween Book Club
4th Thursdays at 4 PM
February 27, March 27, and April 24
Let’s get together and discuss what we are reading over snacks! Not everyone likes to read the same books, so we let you choose the book you want to read and share. Need a few new book suggestions? Ask a staff member about new and popular book titles in the juvenile and young adult sections!

PaperGator Recycling Challenge

Celebrate Earth Day by recycling!

The library has the opportunity to earn exciting rewards by increasing our paper recycling volume. Plus the library will earn double the usual payouts during the contest period.

The library could win $5,000 (1st Prize), $2,000 (2nd Prize), $1,000 (3rd Prize), or double earnings for the entire year of 2025 (beyond the contest period). Winners will be selected based on the largest percentage increase in paper recycling. The winners will be announced on Earth Day 2025.

The PaperGator is located behind the library past the staff parking area. All paper products including old damaged books can be recycled (no cardboard or plastics accepted).

Make & Take Valentines

Saturday, February 8 from 10 AM – Noon

For Kids Of All Ages

Children of all ages can drop in during this time to create valentines for their friends and loved ones.

The library will provide all of the materials and clean up the mess! Special valentine snacks will be provided.

We have rescheduled for Thursday, February 27 at 6:30 PM.

Classic and original songs and stories are featured from the Folk Era of the 1960’s into the 70’s. This show is loaded with lively audience interaction, participation, sing-along, and comedy. Jackie was an original member of the Grammy award winning New Christy Minstrels, and Gary is a folk performer and published songwriter. You will find this to be an entertaining, educational, humorous, fun, and memorable experience!

Who doesn’t like free? Join your friends and make a fun, free craft. Each month we’ll have a different craft to make and take home to display. Up and coming crafts will feature spring and Americana themes that incorporate coffee filters, felt, seaglass, paint and so much more!
