The results are in at the library! The amazing volunteers from the Friends of the Library were able to raise $1146.22 at the Spring Book Sale!
All of the proceeds from the large books sales (spring and fall) and Twice Told Tales: Friends of the Library Book Store come back to the library and assist in various aspects of the library including programming, events, summer reading, and more.
A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to all of the Friends of the Library Volunteers for helping make this book sale so successful. Another big thank you goes out to the Otsego High School Student Volunteers. The library would also like to thank our community and its visitors for donating books for purchase at these sales. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.

The Otsego District Public Library now provides notary service to our patrons. Documents can be notarized at two different rates: $10 for non-residents and $5 for residents per signature.
The library cannot guarantee that a notary will be on staff at all times. Call ahead to verify if a notary will be present and available. You are required to have proper government-issued identification that includes a photo.

New software has been installed on all patron computers at the library. With this new update patrons no longer need their PIN/Password to access library computers. (Patrons will still need their PIN/Password for Overdrive, Libby, and logging into their library account on the card catalog).
We are excited about some of the cool new features – such as wireless printing directly from mobile devices (iPhone and most Android) without the need to install any software on your personal device! Another new feature is that patrons no longer need to fill in a “description” when printing documents. A description is automatically generated from your current logged in session; just tell the staff your name and if you would like black and white or color prints.
Let the library staff know if you are having any issues logging into library computers. Thank you in advance for your patience as we learn the new system.
The Library will be CLOSED on President’s Day, Monday, February 18, 2019 for Staff Training.
We will also use the day to upgrade our computer time management system and for a minor construction project.
Thank you!
Sadly Miss Diane is not feeling well and does not want to get any of our little readers sick.
All early literacy programs (Tiny Tots, Storytime, and Music & Movement) are canceled this week. Programs will begin next week as scheduled.
PLEASE NOTE:
Call the library at the Drive-Thru Pickup Window or ring the doorbell for reserve pickup service.
