DIX STREET
A heads up that in August, road construction will be happening on Dix Street. Resurfacing of the road and construction will happen throughout the month. The City has assured us that access to our lot will not be blocked off for more than a few hours. If you do see the front driveway is blocked during this time, please utilize our Platt Street entrance.
CIRCULATION DESK MOVE
The library’s circulation desk will be updated to improve staff sightlines of the building and front door. We are excited for this upgrade, as it will improve our ability to continue providing excellent customer service. During the construction, a temporary circulation desk will be located in the Adult New Books area. The existing circulation desk will be utilized and changed from a circle shape into an L-shape and alter the sightlines of our staff to forward facing. The copier, fax, and self-checkout machines will also be getting new locations in front of the computers. We anticipate this project to only take about two weeks.
Otsego District Public Library initiated a strategic planning process starting in the Spring of 2022. The library worked with Fast Forward Libraries LLC and was engaged in May 2022 to facilitate the planning process in three phases.

Download Libby or visit libbyapp.com to get started.
