BIG Fall Book Sale
The Friends of the Library are hosting a TWO DAY BIG Fall Book Sale!

Saturday, October 12 from 9 Am – 1 PM
Who loves a book bargain?! We sure do!
Books will be on sale at discounted rates. Shelves inside the bookstore will be restocked with new titles after each sale.

Drop in to celebrate the harvest season with a variety of pumpkin projects and activities. Several stations will be set up to do pumpkin painting, crafts, and games. There will be special pumpkin snacks!

A Saturday class will open from 1 – 3:30 PM if the above classes fill.
Learn the technique of wet felting using fiber from alpacas. You can turn fiber into fabric by using warm, soapy water and a little friction. You will create two small vessels that you can use for succulent planters or decorations.
Class size is limited to 25 participants (ADULTS ONLY).
Cost is $20 and pre-registration is required (nonrefundable).
Cost covers instruction, supplies, your finished products, and refreshments.

Tiny Pumpkin Art

Tiny Canvas Pickup: September 3 – October 31
Canvas Dropoff: October 1 – 31
Voting: November
Create pumpkin themed art on a tiny canvas. Choose your preferred medium to design your Tiny Pumpkin Art piece – paint, mixed media, clay, sculpture, etc. There will be six age categories (listed above) and two prize categories (Best in Show and Most Creative).
Painters will receive a tiny canvas with easel to paint and sculptors will receive a tiny canvas base board to create their art pieces.
Library patrons and artists will vote for their favorite art pieces and prizes will be awarded to the winners of each age group and category.
