Falconry

Presented by Licensed Falconer, Angel Green

Angel will talk about the hunting sport of Falconry from its earliest history to modern day practice, including the steps involved in becoming a falconer. She will bring a lot of falconry equipment, discuss how it’s used in the sport, and detail the process of trapping and training a wild hawk.

Angel will bring a red tailed hawk she trapped last September and hunted with over the fall and winter. Attendees will be encouraged to come up after the presentation to look at and handle equipment, ask questions, and take a closer look at the bird.
