Library Director, Andrea Estelle wins MLA Up and Comer Award!

Each year the Michigan Library Association recognizes a librarian who shows leadership early in his or her career. Winners of this award will be energetic, efficient librarians who push the boundaries of originality and creativity. They will help to establish a library culture that sets high expectations, promotes learning, and creates understanding of the library as an integral part of the community (cited from the MLA Website requirements). This year's winner is our very own Andrea Estelle! Andrea has been with the Otsego District Library for two years and has helped create a welcoming library environment for library patrons of all ages. Her motto is: "Brighten the corner where you are!" and it truly shows in everything that she has achieved in her time at the Otsego District Library.
