The Otsego District Library is now accepting bids for plowing the entire library parking lot and salting the lot upon request. Plowing is requested for when there are 3 inches of snow or more. Please note price for plowing and salting separately in bid.
When needed, plowing must be done before library opens (9 AM Mon-Sat).
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Author, Teresa Irish, is unable to present 1000 Letters Home. The library is planning to reschedule once she is available. Please, keep an eye on our website, Facebook page, and newsletter for events and programming announcements.

The library is now selling bottled water in the Cafe Porch Area. We are curently featuring Dasani Bottled Water for $1 per bottle. The cooler was purchased through one of our spare change donation fundraisers by library patrons. Thank you to all who donated!
Specialty brew coffee from our Keureg machine is also available for 50¢ per cup.
You can now send yourself a text directly from the library card catalog! This feature comes in handy when searching for items from our FUN Touch-Screen Card Catalogs or to remind yourself to look for an item later on when browsing the catalog from home. ODL is leading the way on this program for Allegan County! The Otsego District Library is excited to announce the new program 1000 Books Before Kindergarten this fall, along with ten other Allegan County Libraries! The Allegan County Libraries have partnered with the Allegan County United Way and Volunteer Center.
The library staff have started to spot the kits and mother along the woods. We have checked with the Nature Center and DNR about relocating the fox family to the state forest but they said they do not offer that service.They did let us know though that foxes are typically not dangerous to humans as long as people don't try to touch them. Their advice was to "Embrace the Fox" and enjoy being able to spot this marvelous creature which people usually don't get a chance to see.
We will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday.
